Alya Simoun is a Brooklyn-based Ukrainian-American artist working at the intersection of beauty, movement, and storytelling. With a Master's in Public Health and background in kinesiology and behavioral health research, she brings a science-informed understanding of embodiment to her creative practice.

As a licensed nail technician and founder of Crazy4Clawz, Alya has designed nails for runways, editorial campaigns, and music videos. Her work spans editorial nail art, movement direction and instruction, and creative direction. As a NASM-certified personal trainer and certified movement instructor, she teaches yoga, pilates, sculpt, and strength training with an emphasis on strength, form, and expression.

Alya's work is rooted in discipline and intuition, with a deep respect for the body as a site of artistic expression.
